Sharpness have made an impressive start to life back in the Hellenic League Division One after winning promotion from the Gloucestershire County League last season.
The Sharks have enjoyed a dream return to the division after a 36-year absence, winning three and drawing one of their opening four league matches to sit third in the early-season table.
And the club’s resurgence is continuing off the pitch too, with their new floodlights tested this week as work continues at Hamfields.
Sharpness began their campaign in style with an emphatic 5-1 victory at Carterton, before earning a point in a 1-1 home draw against Darren Jones’ Lydney Town.
They followed that up with a 2-1 win over Swindon Supermarine Reserves, before producing arguably their most remarkable result so far.
The Sharks found themselves 4-1 down at Bewdley Town, but staged a stunning comeback to eventually win a thrilling contest 5-4.
Four games in, Sharpness remain unbeaten and are already showing they are more than capable of holding their own at the higher level.
They will look to continue their fantastic start when Bromyard Town visit Hamfields on Saturday, with kick-off at 3pm.
