Stroud Camera Club held their first Open Competition of the new season and it was well judged by the highly-respected and multi award-winning Jay Hallsworth.
The prints section was of an excellent standard with Jay’s choices being as follows:

In the print section third place was awarded to Roger Matthews for his excellent image of a spitfire called Looking to the past.

Trish Bloodworth took second place with amazing Warrior.

The winner was Mick West’s excellent Hear no evil, speak no evil taken on his travels to Kuala Lumpa.
The Digital section was of an equally high standard with the following being declared Jay’s winners:

In third place was Mark Halling’s excellent Forest Green Rovers action image called Tackle.
In second was Annie Blick’s excellent Touching the Cube taken in Birmingham.
The winner was Trish Bloodworth’s amazing Stationmaster.

An overall excellent evening and it great to see many new faces at the club
