Stroud camera Club held its annual Monochrome competition on Thursday evening and a very entertaining evening was had by all.

The judge for this competition was Steve Field from the Bristol club and he was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable and helpful with his feedback on all images.

In the print section Mick West took the honours with his exceptional image Occulous fast and slow. Second was Jeff Wilsons Good to read in the morning, with Trish Bloodworth’s Nearing the end in third.

In the digital section, Annie Blick’s excellent take on the lighthouse at Burnham on Sea took the honours, with Carol Barchou taking both second and third with Whitewashed Wall and Woolacombe Beach.
