Stroud Community invited to annual “Walk the Wall” in solidarity with Palestine

MOST READ

Following their participation in London’s largest-ever anti-racist march, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) Stroud District is inviting the local community to take part in their annual “Walk the Wall” event in solidarity with Palestine, alongside the Palestine Marathon taking place in Bethlehem.

“Walk the Wall” uses local landscapes to illustrate the effects of the Israeli occupation on the lives of Palestinians. The event provides participants with an opportunity to connect with Palestinian people, learn about their lives and challenges, and show meaningful support.

Event Details:

  • Saturday 18th April – Moderate Walk
    • Start: Wallbridge Lock, 10:00 am
    • Route: Over Rodborough Common to Brimscombe
    • Distance: Just over 5 km, moderately challenging, suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness
  • Sunday 19th April – Gentle Walk
    • Start: Winstone’s Ice Cream, 2:00 pm
    • Route: Level walk, returning to Winstone’s
    • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, suitable for all ages

Donations: £5–£10 per adult (children free), with proceeds shared between PSC Stroud District and the Amos Trust, a human rights charity that has supported Palestinians and other communities globally for over 40 years.

Places on both walks must be booked, as numbers are limited. For more information, and to book:
