Businesswoman Reena Gohil, founder of Surya Chamak in Stroud’s Five Valleys Shopping Centre, has been announced as a finalist for “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” at the prestigious UK Small Business Awards 2025.
Surya Chamak, meaning “Sun Sparkle”, is a jewellery brand celebrated for its tarnish-free, water-resistant 18k gold-plated designs. Each piece is crafted to empower women to feel confident, stylish, and strong in their everyday lives. Since opening in Five Valleys, Surya Chamak has become a go-to destination for timeless, affordable luxury, as well as a symbol of independent retail success in Gloucestershire.
Founder Reena Gohil has built the brand from the ground up while balancing the demands of running a business single-handedly and raising her family — a journey that has inspired many local women in business.
