Raised in London, Andrew Longhurst built his first synthesizer when 17, started work at E-Zee Studios in 1983, was partner in two 24 track music studios from 1984, produced his first album in 1986, toured the world with various bands, was part of the world’s first VR studio in 1991 and has been involved in the digital media industry ever since.
He came to Stroud in 1993 for a fortnight to help a friend out who owned a fledgling multimedia/e-learning business and stayed. He set up various multimedia production businesses before becoming the International Product Manager for E-mu Systems, working from Pinewood Studios, and was involved in the development of several ground breaking digital technologies.
He set up MultiMedia Outsourcing UK Ltd in 2007, opening MMOUK Studios in Fromehall Mill in 2010 – with video and voice studios as well as post-production and led a team developing VR Events in multiple languages delivered across the globe.
He is one of the founding members of the Fromehall Mill Community Benefit Society who acquire Fromehall Mill as a community asset.

Either playing music or in the sun in our garden with my wife, a book and a glass of something cool

Witnessing a close family member spiral toward a prolonged mental health episode

Be kind, admit not knowing, always work with people better than you, love is the answer.
