Stroud Civic Society’s illustrated talk by Pauline Stevens entitled Stroud’s Imperial Hotel and its Neighbours will take place this Friday, May 10th at The Stroud Hotel from 7.30-9.00pm.
Now reborn as The Stroud, local historian Pauline Stevens will give an illustrated talk on the fascinating history of the hotel. She will also throw light on the life and works of Benjamin Bucknall – well known as the architect of Woodchester Mansion. Pauline’s work was used in extensive research which gained The Imperial Hotel its Grade 2 listing.
