Thoughts with loved ones after sudden death at Stroud car park

Police were in attendance at the Five Valleys car park in Stroud yesterday morning (Monday 24 November) following a sudden death.

Police were called shortly after 5am with a report that the body of a man had been discovered by a member of the public.

The death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious at this time. The coroner has been informed and work is ongoing to identify his next of kin.

A scene guard was in place on the top floor of the car park but has since been removed and the car park reopened.
