Global Beats has teamed up with the Together Alliance following their 500,000 people, multi-cultural march in London last month.
Future Global Beats events will be themed around the Together Alliances’s message of hope, love and unity supporting the Alliance’s initiatives to register people to vote.
The first of these events, celebrating the arrival of Spring, will be on Sat April 11th at Locking Hill Studio at 7.30pm. Local band, Babia will kick off the evening with live Spanish and Cuban music followed by late night dancing from DJs LMSKN and JagP. Both will bring the worlds dance floor to Stroud with Latin and Afrobeats amongst other world music genres.
‘’The event will also be a fundraiser for the Cuban Solidarity Campaign which is coordinating essential medical supplies to Cuba, critical supplies which are currently embargoed by US sanctions’’ said Jagdish Patel, organiser of Global Beats.
