Five Valleys Shopping Centre has updated its car parking machines after taking into account customer feedback.
The centre has issued an update across all machines which will remove the ‘evening tariff’ button and ensure the lower cost evening tariff is automatically applied after 5pm.
Jessica Derham, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “We always take our customer’s feedback into consideration, and want to make their experience with us as positive and easy as possible. The removal of the evening tariff button will make parking with us more straightforward and the update has taken immediate effect.”
Tony Davey, Chairman of the Stroud & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce commented “We’ve been in regular contact with the Centre management regarding the car park challenges of the past and acknowledge the improvements these changes will make. By simplifying the process and investing to make it more robust, we hope for a better experience for customers and the centre too.”
The tariff makes it even more affordable to visit Five Valleys for its vast range of evening activities, including Friday Night Markets, bowling, catching a film, or having a meal in Curio Lounge.
Jessica added: “We hope to see even more customers enjoying Five Valley’s hospitality and leisure activities after 5pm and hope the update to our parking system will make a visit to Five Valleys even more attractive.
“Make sure to look out for our weekly Night Markets happening every Friday from 6-8pm, where you can enjoy live music, delicious food and our pop-up cocktail bar.”
Evening parking from 5pm – 12am is 50p, and overnight parking from 5pm – 8am is £1.50.
