MOST READ

An easy to make blackberry mojito recipe. With fresh blackberries, lemon and lime juice, mint leaves, glug of soda water and a shot of rum – what’s not to love, writes Mandy Applegate.

Preparation time, 5 minutes. Servings 1
Ingredients: 12 blackberries; 4 tsp sugar; 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice; 1 tbsp fresh lime juice; 12 large mint leaves; 120 ml soda water; 50 ml rum; ice cubes.

Instructions: First, you’ll need to make your blackberry mixture. Muddle your blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice and mint leaves (if you don’t have a muddler, gently use the back of a tablespoon).
Now add in your soda water. Next to go in is your shot of rum. Now fill up your glass with ice cubes, give it a good stir.
Garnish with blackberry, a lime wedge and a sprig of mint – super refreshing, serve and enjoy!
