What’s on in Stroud this week: 1 – 7 September
It’s the first day of meteorological autumn, and the schools go back this week, marking a change in the events on offer around the Stroud District.
Talks, gigs and evening performances are back in fashion , with a Radical Stroud event in Eastington, an evening considering the River Frome at Stroud Brewery, a spoken word event at the Bowbridge Arms and gigs at the Prince Albert.
The Museum in the Park also begins a season focussing on veteran Whiteway blacksmith Alan Evans and the Moreton Show takes place at the wrong end of the Cotswolds on Saturday.
