When Tony Hart visited the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

Tony Hart, much-loved artist and presenter of the children’s TV programmes Take Hart and Vision On in the 1970s and 80s, launched an art exhibition at Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) in April 2006.

The artist, famous for introducing Morph to millions of viewers, launched Gloucester charity Art Shape‘s exhibition On The Next Level – Space Between, part of the WWT’s celebration of 60 years of conservation and access.

The exhibition showcased 53 pieces of artwork from 19 artists in an exhibition that promoted equality of access for exhibiting artists.

The show featured a variety of paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures, all from artists with different backgrounds, in keeping with Tony Hart’s can-do attitude and featured professional, amateur, disabled and non-disabled artists.

Tony Hart died in January 2009.
