Wotton Auction Rooms has announced the appointments of Jack Young and Ali Lidbetter, marking a significant step in the continued strengthening and modernisation of the business.
Both bring a blend of experience, energy, and industry knowledge that will support the auction house’s growing operations and help deliver an enhanced service to clients and vendors.
Their arrival comes at a time of increased demand and continued expansion for Wotton Auction Rooms, reinforcing the team and positioning the business for further growth in 2025 and beyond.

Boasting a decade of experience, Jack Young cut his auctioneering teeth at Gorringe’s of East Sussex. Joining Wotton Auction Rooms as Head of Business Development, Auctioneer, and Valuer, Jack said: “I’m very excited to be working with Joseph again. We met at Gorringe’s and worked incredibly well together. He has a great team at Wotton that I am grateful to be a part of. Between us all, I’m certain of a bright future spent building on the already solid foundations of a highly respected auction room.“

Ali Lidbetter is a familiar face at Wotton and rejoins the team as Photographer and Sale Day Clerk. Ali said: “I’m no stranger to this place; I’ve worked here before and I’m really excited to be starting again with Joseph and the rest of the team at Wotton Auction Rooms.”
