What’s on in Stroud this week: 6 – 12 October
Forecasts suggest another mostly sunny week in what is turning out to be something of an Indian summer in this part of the world.
This has coincided with plenty of leaf colour and a bumper apple harvest and to make for a textbook autumn, just in time for Day’s Cottage’s annual apple day in Brookthorpe on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Stroud’s event calendar is offering a similarly bountiful crop this week, with art, craft, music and nature-based offerings providing plenty to see and do. Further afield, the Cheltenham Literature Festival kicks off on Friday, with hundreds of events centred around a pop up festival village in the town’s Montpellier Gardens.
