This week I decided to take a look at the history of the building that has housed hairdressing business Peter Hickman since the 1980s.

The building still boasts its original Victorian facade. Interestingly, the advert in this article states it was once a coffee shop and even offered accommodation for cyclists and football teams. The changing face of the building saw it become Catherine’s gift shop in the 1950s.
