Police investigating a dangerous driving incident on the M5 earlier this month are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
It was reported that the driver of a Blue BMW X3 was driving at high speed along the hard shoulder on the northbound carriageway at junction 14 at around 8.50am on Tuesday 13 January.
The vehicle, which had no number plates and blacked-out windows, then exited the motorway at either junction 11 or 11a.
Police then received further calls from members of the public relating to the blue BMW being driven dangerously.
The vehicle was then sighted by officers in Tewkesbury, however the driver immediately made off. The BMW collided with multiple vehicles in the process and the driver failed to stop and continued driving.
Officers followed the vehicle, however the pursuit was aborted due to concerns about the dangerous manner in which the BMW was being driven.
The vehicle was found abandoned in Worcestershire shortly afterwards.
Officers from Gloucestershire and West Mercia Police searched the area, however the driver was not located.
Investigating officers are now keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the vehicle being driven dangerously, or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage.
They would also like to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to police and whose vehicle was damaged during this incident.
