A man has been arrested after reports of indecent exposure on a grass verge beside a main road near Cirencester.
Police were called at around 7am on Tuesday, March 17, following reports that a man was committing a sexual act on Spine Road in South Cerney.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a man in his 50s from Wiltshire on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has since been questioned and released on bail with conditions while enquiries continue.
The man is described as white and was reportedly wearing a pink dress, stockings, black boots and a long brown wig.
Cotswolds Neighbourhood Police are now appealing for witnesses. Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage.
