In partnership with Just Helping, your tree can be collected and recycled, with your donations helping us to be there for patients, their families and carers, when a devastating diagnosis has changed everything. Dispose of your tree sustainably, and support your local community hospice this winter. Your tree will be chipped and used locally, an environmentally friendly scheme that also supports our free hospice care.

Susan, who lives in Dursley and has appeared in the likes of Killing Eve, Doctor Who, and Downton Abbey said: “This year I’m supporting Longfield Community Hospice’s Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme.

“For a voluntary donation, the charity’s team of volunteers will collect your tree at the end of the festive season and take it to be recycled.

“I think we’re all conscious about doing our bit for the environment, and by recycling my tree this way, I know it won’t end up in landfill. Not only that, it will be picked up from outside my house meaning no mess or hassle for me!

“Most importantly of all, the money raised through this scheme will help a local charity, Longfield Community Hospice carry on their vital work.”
