Stroud’s Big Nature Festival in the Park took place yesterday in Stratford Park, the first since 2019.
The Big Nature Festival in the Park is the highlight of a three-month summer long programme of events around the Stroud District, organised by Stroud Nature CIC working with members of the Stroud Great Green Partnership which includes many local and regional wildlife and environmental organisations, big and small.
“It was really important that this year’s event took place, after a two-year absence, during which many people connected and reconnected with the nature around them in response to the pandemic,” said Steve Roberts, Director of Stroud Nature CIC.
“Organisations were once more able to engage directly with a large number of people while enjoying a wonderful day in the sun and shade (and one shower) of a beautiful Stratford Park.”
