A new sweet shop is set to open in Nailsworth.

Confection Affection will open next month on the former site of Coco Confectionery in Fountain Street, Nailsworth and will be run by Peter Elms, who also owns Confection Affection in Union Street, Stroud.

“We are planning to open in late March and are looking forward to bringing some Confection Affection magic to Nailsworth,” Mr Elms told Stroud Times.

“We plan to have over 100 varieties of sweets in jars, the tuck shop favourites we know our customers love, hand-finished Belgian chocolates, fudge, chocolate bars, liquorice … treats galore.”
