A French Bulldog Olive has captured hearts at The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home — but she’s in urgent need of help.
Olive, who is eight months old, arrived in excruciating pain with a broken femur. Without immediate specialist surgery, she faces a future of suffering and possible lifelong disability.
Her life-changing operation is scheduled for today, and it marks the beginning of a long recovery journey involving crate rest, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
Olive’s care is expected to cost £6,000 — a huge burden for this small Gloucestershire charity already stretched by the cost-of-living crisis.
