An art exhibition and charity auction is underway at The Sub Rooms.

The Little Art Exhibition launched this week, showcasing 140 pieces of art from creatives across the Stroud Valleys and beyond.

Organiser Anna Rennolds-Cook said: “The salon style show fills the George Room in a way we haven’t seen for a long time – think Stroud’s own version of the Royal Academy Summer Show. The exhibition was open to all to submit and shows work of all mediums, styles, shapes and styles.

“We are so proud of all these submissions, it has been lovely to bring such variety together in one room.

The idea of the show is to promote art ownership and you can bid for your favourite pieces in a silent auction up until the exhibition closes at 4pm on Saturday, including late night opening on Friday for Goodwill.

All money will be split between the artists and The Subscription Rooms Charitable Trust.
