David Horseman has emerged as the bookies’ favourite to take over the vacant managers role at Forest Green.
The Southampton B coach assisted Saints boss Ruben Selles in the Premier League last season.
Horseman,39, is now BetVictor’s favourite with odds at 2/1, at the time of writing.
Horseman joined Southampton in August of 2019 after an extensive coaching career at the likes of Bristol City and Watford.
Horseman took the reigns of the Under-23s side for the majority of the 2019/20 season and now leads the B team as their Head Coach.

Forest Green’s modus operandi under leftfield chairman Dale Vince and Director of Football Allan Steele is expected to see the New Lawn top brass appoint a manager like Horseman, who ticks the right boxes rather than a manager who has worked in League Two before.
