James Campbell’s first-half double helped guide Brimscombe & Thrupp to a 3-1 FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round replay victory over Brislington.

Campbell’s first-half brace had Sam Prior’s side in the driving seat, but Brislington got back into the game thanks to Asa White’s penalty. However, Oli Barnes put the Lilywhites into the next round with a strike six minutes before the end.

Brimscombe face a trip to Aylesbury in the next round on Sunday, August 22nd, 1pm.

The Lilywhites return to Hellenic League action this evening, Friday, 7.45 pm, with the visit of Calne Town.
