MATT Rose finished with the remarkable figures of 5-1 from 6.5 overs as Stroud were skittled for only 28 at home by Bourton Vale who raced to a 148-run win in WEPL’s Gloucestershire division.
Chasing a target of 177, Stroud never got out of first gear as Rose and Will Faulkner (5-27) tore through the innings in less than 14 overs.
Earlier, Bourton Vale were battling at 20-3 before recovering thanks to Faulkner (53 not) and Musa Twala (40).
Bottom side Thornbury 2nds, meanwhile, were bowled out for just 33 and a 296-run reverse away to Langford.

Captain Liam Court’s 133 from 112 (17 fours, four sixes) helped power the home side to an imposing 329-5 ahead of Thornbury folding against Tom Stevens (4-16) and Barney Villiers (2-0).
Leaders Chipping Sodbury trumped Aston Ingham by 71 runs, Rohan Wijeratne (86) and Jiwanjot Singh (4-28) shining while Eddie Holden’s spell of 3-29 included the wicket of Anthony James for 92.
Charlton Kings made it three in a row with a five-wicket home defeat of Frocester 2nds, Andy Bower taking 4-48 before skipper Gavin Williams stepped up with 128 from 96 (13 fours, five sixes).
And Hawkesbury Upton trumped Gloucester by nine wickets, opener Fred Bennett unbeaten on 90.
Frocester rallied from an unpromising 6-3 to eventually overcome Downend by 25 runs to remain fifth in Premier One.
Matt Jackson’s fine figures of 5-50 restricted the village side to 190 all out which proved to be out of reach for Downend despite opener Cyrus Shafi’s 78.
Thornbury moved up a place to second after a three-wicket home win over Bristol for whom Jake Carstens top scored with 104 from 117 (15 fours, two sixes).
Next up for Thornbury is a trip on Saturday to Bridgwater who held off Bedminster by 21 runs.
Golden Hill slipped from third to fifth in Premier Two Bristol/Somerset after an 84-run home reverse against Lansdown while Bishopston, battling to avoid a second successive relegation, lost by five wickets at Congresbury.
Dumbleton, the pacesetters in Premier Two Glos/Wilts, held off Hatherley & Reddings by 36 runs.
Opener Dan Holland (71) and Tommy Boorman (62) shone with the bat before Angus Catto struck with figures of 3-38.
It was closer at Painswick who edged Tewkesbury by three runs, Luke Woolway hitting 93 and Alastair Conolly bagging 4-53 while Cheltenham were 14-run victors at Corsham, skipper Josh Breed leading from the front with 80 and following up with a haul of 3-29.
Bristol West Indian Phoenix, the leaders of Bristol & North Somerset, made it three in a row with a 36-run home triumph over bottom side Bedminster 2nds, James Pearson shining with 113 from 101 (16 fours, one six).
Closest rivals Twyford House thumped Bristol Pakistanis by 306 runs after skipper Parik Shetty smashed a tremendous 172 from 114 (14 fours, 13 sixes) and Mark Fowler took 6-44 from ten.
Josh Whitemore grabbed 3-33 and the hit an unbeaten 73 in Brislington’s five-wicket home defeat of Frenchay, Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury made it three in a row with a six wicket victory at Bristol 2nds and Knowle emerged 63-run winners at home to Pak Bristolians.

SRINIVAS Kamath and Andy Bates shared a stand of 216 as Cheltenham Civil Service 2nds ended their long wait for a first win of the summer with a 133-run home triumph over Parkend in Division Five of the Gloucestershire League.
Bates was run out for 98 but Kamath went on to complete his century before being held for 109 (12 fours, one six) in an imposing total of 299-3 after winning the toss.
Aatreya Sugur then claimed 3-17 as Civil Service moved off the foot of the table.
At the top, meanwhile, leaders King’s Stanley marched on with a ten-wicket demolition of Gloucester 2nds, Andy Malkin taking 4-42 before Ollie Cranny (62) and Gloucester rugby player Jack Clement (50) took care of the chase towards a target of 111.
Corse & Staunton, bidding to bounce straight back to WEPL, were also ten-wicket winners in their Division One visit to Lydney.
The home side were rushed out for 70 by Te Shawn Zyun Alleyne (4-11) and Ed Goolden (3-36) with the pair following up with 34 and 37, respectively.
Cheltenham 2nds, who were joint second at the start of the day with Cheltenham Civil Service, zoomed 12 points clear with a 26-run home triumph against neighbours.
Captain James Schofield (71 not) and Mohammed Bokhari (70) dominated with the bat in Cheltenham’s challenge of 226-7 which proved to be out of range for the visitors.
So congested is the bottom half of the table that Tetbury went from ninth to sixth with a 209-run home hammering of Redmarley, Chris Job (95) and Alex Wyer (5-29) both shining.
Shaun Rooney cracked 100 off only 61 (13 fours, five sixes) for Chipping Sodbury 2nds who were 103-run victors at Newent in Division Three.
And in Division Five, Ian Robson’s unbeaten 110 off 113 (20 fours) steered Corse & Staunton 2nds to a nine wicket home triumph over Goodrich who were dismissed for 193.
One of the bowling spells of the day came in Division Nine D where Pete Masterman grabbed 6-22 from eight as Cirencester 4ths were shot out for 33 ahead of Charlton completing a seven-wicket success.
And in Seven A, Glyn Bayley’s burst of 6-28 from eight helped Huntley to a 112-run home defeat of Arcadians Nine Elms, Jon Green (80) and Charlie Gayther (75) earlier finding form with the bat.
