MOST READ

An exhibition at Dursley Heritage Centre explores migration to the town since 1900.

Among the groups featured are World War One refugees from Belgium, Polish people who settled in the UK following World War Two, members of the Windrush Generation who found work at Lister’s and families who have been displaced by the current conflict in Ukraine.

The exhibition runs until Saturday 25th May and explores the history of groups and individuals who have chosen to make a home in Dursley and helped to build the community since the beginning of the 20th Century.

The Heritage Centre is open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am to midday.
