Forest Green has revealed new naming rights for the New Lawn stadium.
The previous Fully Charged New Lawn will now be known as The Bolt New Lawn in partnership with the mobility app.
Bolt has more than 100 million customers in over 45 countries, accelerating the transition from owned cars to shared mobility, offering better alternatives for every use case, including ride-hailing, shared cars and scooters, and food and grocery delivery.
From Bristol to Derby and Peterborough to Milton Keynes, Rovers supporters will also be able to use Bolt’s vast network of rides across the country on the club’s journey to League One – with over 20 towns and cities in the UK currently enjoying Bolt’s convenient, affordable ride-hailing offer.
Bolt and Forest Green are also working together on projects that will benefit the local Nailsworth area and Rovers fans from across the country.
Dale Vince, Chairman, at FGR said: “How we all travel is one of the big three things we need to change to get to net zero and avoid the worst of the climate crisis (Energy, Transport and Food being the big three).
“Bolt are doing some really important innovation in this space, I’m happy to welcome them to the FGR family and look forward to working with them.”
Josh Ryan, Country Manager, UK Rides at Bolt said: “We’re really proud to become part of the FGR family, and appreciate the warm welcome from Dale and the club. The team, club and fans have been nothing short of inspirational on and off the pitch – we just had to be a part of it.
“They’ve shown how approaching things a little differently can lead to big change for the better of the environment. We’re on a mission to do the same for urban travel by developing a full range of alternative options to owning a car. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the Bolt New Lawn in the new season.”
