Forest Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage has praised Coventry City manager Frank Lampard after securing the loan signing of exciting young striker Aidan Dausch for the 2025/26 season.

The 19-year-old forward arrives at The New Lawn on a season-long loan from the Sky Blues, linking up with fellow Coventry loanee Isaac Moore.

Dausch is a highly rated product of Coventry’s youth academy and has represented the United States at youth level. He impressed during a short loan spell with St Albans City in the National League South last term.

Having joined Coventry at the age of 16, Dausch made his professional debut just a year later, coming on as a late substitute in a Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers. He signed his first professional contract in June 2024, and quickly made headlines with a remarkable five-goal haul in Coventry U21s’ 14–0 win over Colchester United U21s.

Speaking on the signing, Savage said: “Aidan is an exciting talent that we’re delighted to work with here at Forest Green. We’re thankful to Frank Lampard and Coventry City for allowing us to bring Aidan and Isaac to the football club. We’re excited to see them both develop and help us in our quest for promotion.”

Dausch becomes Rovers’ tenth pre-season signing as Savage continues to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign.
