Forest Green Rovers’ squad overhaul continues with the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur player Max Robson on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old, who spent 15 years at Spurs, progressed through the club’s academy system before departing this summer. During his time in North London, he made nearly 100 appearances across the U21 and U18 levels, and featured regularly throughout the academy age groups.
A versatile player, Robson is capable of operating across midfield and at right-back—attributes that appeal to manager Robbie Savage, who hailed him as a valuable addition.
“Max is an enthusiastic, versatile and talented addition to our squad,” Savage said: “His flexibility in playing a number of roles makes him a key asset, and we’re pleased to make the deal happen.”
Robson becomes Forest Green’s 12th signing of the summer as the club continues to reshape its squad ahead of the new campaign.
