Former Forest Green Rovers captain Ryan Inniss has found a new club after completing a move to Hornchurch.

The 31-year-old centre-back joins the Essex outfit following his departure from Forest Green at the end of last season, bringing an end to a three-year spell at The New Lawn.

Inniss made more than 100 appearances for Rovers and established himself as a key figure in the heart of the defence.

Before joining Forest Green, Inniss enjoyed spells with Charlton Athletic, Newport County and Port Vale, among others.

Hornchurch have confirmed the signing but have not revealed the length of his contract.

The experienced defender will now look to get his career back on track as he begins the next chapter with the National League newcomers.
