Minchinhampton-based Jack Cope’s form on the Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 circuit this season has been outstanding.

This string of performances, particularly his tier-one top finishes, translated into a major climb in the Official World Golf Ranking. From 1561 mid-March’25, Cope has catapulted to a career-high 882nd.

His most recent highlight came at Brocket Hall, where he set the pace on Day 1 with an early lead with an impressive 8-under round in firm, windy conditions. The following two days saw 2-under and  5-under rounds to post 15-under for the tournament finishing two shots off the lead at tied 3rd, reinforcing his consistent performance.

The week before, he secured T11 at Oxford GC (July 8–10), and earlier in the season he shone at Belton Woods, further cementing his elite Tier 1 credentials.

Cope’s breakthrough came at Al Ain in the UAE where he led the tournament going into the final day and finishing tied 2nd. Then at Clandon Regis, where he finished tied 2nd in the Caddy Comps Championship. His strong 6-under second round, capped by key birdies and an eagle, vaulted him into contention.

That rapid ascent—climbing 679 spots since March — highlights the OWGR point weightage attached to Tier 1 events on the Clutch Pro Tour. Cope’s four top-3 finishes (Alain in UAE, Clandon Regis, Belton Woods, Brocket Hall) and consistent top-15s have underlined this season’s momentum.

Cope has demonstrated remarkable consistency and rising form across the Tier 1 schedule, culminating in a career-high world ranking of 882nd as he maintains this trajectory—with multiple top-10s and top-3s in rapid succession—his momentum and current third position on the Clutch Pro Tour Order of Merit positions him well for tier progression onto The Hotel Planner Tour.
