Family owned jeweller, F.Hinds, has recently refurbished their Stroud branch.
The store at Five Valleys Shopping Centre originally opened in 1973.
F.Hinds, which has been a family business since it was established in 1856, first opened its doors in Stroud in 1973 and has since become a well-loved part of the local community. The F.Hinds store, which employs 6 people, is part of the nationally celebrated F.Hinds family business that first launched 166 years ago in 1856.
The new Stroud F.Hinds store refit features modernisation to match the current F.Hinds branding, new wall decoration, carpet and a new seated area for serving customers.
Alexandra Wigg, assistant manager at F.Hinds Stroud said: “F.Hinds has now been in Stroud for more than 50 years. In that time, we’ve become a trusted jeweller to the area, and to many families over several generations.
“I even used to shop here with my grandfather when I was young! I’ve now been part of the team for over 7 years and to see our humble Stroud branch get a new and refreshed look is a joy to me. We all take pride in knowing that the look may change, but our personal, approachable, and friendly service will remain unchanged.”

The store will continue to provide a large range of jewellery, diamonds, watches and gifts as well as their full range of services including Gold for Cash, jewellery design, remodelling and repairs, watch servicing and battery replacements, insurance and more.
F.Hinds employs over 1,000 staff across 127 stores in the UK, including its Chapelle branded stores. The independent business was also named Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year in 2021 at the Professional Jeweller awards, as well as being awarded the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award in 2022.
