PAINSWICK are through to the quarter-finals of the Voneus Village Cup after a tremendous six-wicket victory away to Goatacre.
The Wiltshire side were restricted to 139 all out after winning the toss, Matt Conolly (3-20) leading the charge while there were also two wickets apiece for brother Jon and Keegan Jansen Van Rensburg.

The visitors then rallied from losing an early wicket to get over the line with more than ten overs to spare, Luke Woolway (39 not) and Alastair Conolly (35) taking charge.

Gloucestershire group champions Painswick are now preparing for a daunting trip on Sunday to Grampound Road, of Truro.
BRISTOL breezed past Frocester and then Bridgwater to win WEPL’s T20 and qualify for the first regional round of this national ECB competition.
Miles Kantolinna (3-13) shone as Frocester were bowled out for 109 and then trumped by five wickets.
