Police are appealing for witnesses and information following several residential burglaries in the Stroud area yesterday, Saturday, December 4th.

Five burglaries have been reported between 11.30am and 10pm in locations which include Eastcombe, Bussage, Chalford and Bisley.

In each break-in entry has been gained by either smashing a rear patio door or window and untidy searches have then taken place inside the homes with items stolen.

Scenes of crimes officers are attending the targeted properties and house to house enquiries are ongoing.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the surrounding areas in recent days, including any vehicles they have seen or people on foot.

Officers are also asking for anyone who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to make contact.

Anyone with information is asked to submit this to police online by completing the ‘Update a crime report’ form on the Constabulary’s website, referencing incident 376 of 4 December: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
