Police responded to a two-vehicle collision in Stonehouse today, Sunday.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended an incident at Bridgend, Stonehouse of two vehicles involved in a road traffic accident, no major injuries to the individuals involved – just badly damaged vehicles.
“Officers directed traffic and the road was closed shortly for recovery to remove the vehicle from the middle of the road.
“Thank you to everyone that assisted on scene before officers arrived and those that followed the signs and directions from officers.
“Meanwhile, police community support officers attended an incident straight after regarding an abandoned vehicle with no number plates. The vehicle was discovered as stolen and recovered for forensics.”
