The fourth Party on the Playing Field returns to Brimscombe on Sunday, July 14th, from 2pm-7pm.

The event is organised by volunteers and is backed by the Parish Council.

There will be entertainment for youngsters, including a Big Top Tent showcasing young talent, arts by Mad About Art, live bands and food and drink from local suppliers, including Stroud Brewery.

Organiser Madeleine Staples said: “This will be our fourth year of hosting The Party on the Playing Field on London Road in Thrupp – GL5 2SD.

“It was originally born out of relinking our neighbours after Covid lockdown – but due to its huge success and necessity it has continued.”

Entry to the event is £4 for adults and free to under-18s.
