The ever present sinkhole outside the Trinity Rooms by Stroud Hospital is finally being fixed.
Gloucestershire Highways are carrying out patching works until 7pm, tonight, Monday, bringing an end to the long-running frustration for motorists.
Meanwhile, a closure will be in place at Bowbridge Lane from 9.30am to 3.30pm between Thursday, March 27 and Tuesday, April 1 for carriageway resurfacing works.
Elsewhere, Lower Spillmans will be closed between Monday, March 24 and Friday, March 28 between 7am and 7pm, for carriageway patching.
