Room at the Inn for Christmas Nativity

A traditional Christmas Nativity in Brimscombe found warmth at the Inn.

Ship Inn landlord Wes Birch afforded children from Brimscombe School room at the Inn to perform their traditional Christmas Nativity after the weekend snow had forced their annual performance indoors.

Co-ordinator/director Kate Woodward said: “The pub was absolutely packed, the children put on a performance and even Elvis (Greg Adamson) came along as one of the Three kings with John Lennon and Jill Queen of the Jungle’ Scott look-alikes Rev. Peter Francis attended.”

“Carols were sung and it was a really lovely community atmosphere.”
