The owner of Rush Skatepark has spoken about the recent announcement of the closure date for the business.

Jerry Norman and his wife Michelle opened the park in 2013, and revealed last week that the last day of trading will be August 29th.

The skatepark is situated at Brimscombe Port, an area which has been granted planning permission for residential use, and businesses there were given an extension to their leases until June 30th.

The park attracts riders from across the UK and has nurtured national champions. In the video, Jerry expresses his concern about what happens to them in the future.
