An amber weather warning for wind is currently in place for Gloucestershire.

Prepare for flooding

Storm Eunice is forecast to cause a tidal surge along Severn and Wye Estuary.

The tidal surge is possible Friday morning, and the Environment Agency is urging people to take steps to protect themselves and their property. Flooding is possible from Avonmouth and up the Severn into Gloucestershire and along the Wye from Chepstow to Monmouth.

Please familiarise yourself with our flood guide, which provides information on what to do before, during and after a flood.

From high winds, strong sunlight and fog to snow and ice, all weathers can present different challenges both for keeping the travel networks open and for those navigating through the difficult conditions.
