A team of friends from Stroud have set up WinThisNow Competitions, an online competition website offering many different types of prizes – and this month an Audi car is up for grabs.
The business is run by directors Kyle Buckle, Kieran Bendle and Jordan Cairns.
Kyle said: “We’re all from Stroud. Jordan and I grew up in Uplands, went to the same primary school, and have known each other for years. Kieran is originally from Swindon but moved to Forest Green with his dad 14 years ago when his mum fell ill with MS. That’s when we became best friends. He has lived in the area ever since.
“I was the one who brought the team together — Kieran and Jordan knew of each other but weren’t close. Jordan and I had always talked about starting a business and making money for ourselves, so it made sense to bring him on board.
“We run competitions similar to a lottery, with two main types of draws: Instant Win Competitions where people buy tickets for a competition they like. If the number they purchase matches a winning number, they get a prize instantly. Even if they don’t win an instant prize, they’re still entered into the final draw for the main prize.
“The other is Live Draw Competitions (no instant wins) where people buy their tickets and simply wait for the live draw.
“All draws are guaranteed, meaning they go ahead no matter how many tickets are sold.
“The winner can choose to keep the prize or take a cash alternative. If they choose the prize, we either arrange delivery from the manufacturer or deliver it ourselves (if they’re happy with a photo).
“We also have a Facebook group where we celebrate winners, run free games, and keep the community engaged. New customers get 20% discount on their first order if they sign up to our newsletter.
“Since launching, we’ve given out over £150K in prizes—including tech, cash, holidays, experiences, and now even cars!”
