The incident happened at around 6.40pm, Thursday, on the A436 near Notgrove, a road between Andoversford and Bourton-on-the-Water.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended and a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four people have been taken to hospital by paramedics. Three of them have suspected serious injuries while the fourth has been taken to hospital to be checked over.

Officers remain at the location and the road will stay closed while a collision investigation takes place. Closures are likely to be in place overnight.
