Brimscombe goalkeeper Dan Brabham was the star for Sam Prior’s side, making the only save in a tense penalty shootout and scoring the winning penalty to see his side through to the second round of the FA Vase.

The Lilywhites edged a thrilling tie 5-4 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 in normal time after Brimscombe midfielder Adam Price netted parity.

Prior’s side will now face Wessex Premier outfit Shaftesbury at home in the next round.
