Stonehouse Town assistant manager Karl Nash says the Magpies are primed for their biggest test of the season as they prepare for tonight’s Hellenic League Division One West play-off semi-final clash at Bewdley, 7.45pm.
Adam Coyle’s in-form side finished fourth in the table, three points behind Bewdley in third, setting up a thrilling encounter this evening.
“This is as big as it gets for Stonehouse – arguably our biggest game of the season,” said Nash, who has made his impact on and off the pitch this season. “The lads have worked tirelessly to get here, and we’re not finished yet.
“After missing out last year, the aim this season was always to reach the play-offs and go one step further. It means everything to the players and staff to try and get over the line.
“We’ve got a tough game in store against a strong Bewdley side who finished third. But we go into it full of confidence. Over the last six games we’ve been top of the form table, winning five and keeping four clean sheets.
“We also beat Bewdley 3–1 a few weeks ago, so we’ve got nothing to fear. If we turn up with the same hunger, desire and determination, we believe we can beat anyone in our path.
“We’ve got a strong, healthy squad ready to go to war.”
