Photographer Natasha Scott took these photos of Alfie the donkey on Minchinhampton Common over the past three years.

Natasha has fond memories of Alfie, who passed away earlier this week.

“He would often come over if I was looking for flowers or mushrooms, basically scrambling around in the grass and I’d look up and there he was presenting his body for a scratch! Very particular I should find the right spot!

“He was such a glorious being, I along with most of Stroud will miss him.”
