Longfield Community Hospice is hosting a clothing sale with a difference for budget-savvy shoppers. Instead of paying by item, you pay by weight. And at just £3 per kilo, a bag bursting with pre-loved clothes.
The event is being held at Longfield Community Hospice, Burleigh Lane, Stroud GL5 2PQ on Thursday, September 19 from 3.30pm – 7,30pm. Admission and parking is free.
On the day, you grab a bag at the door and rummage through tables of quality and unique pre-loved clothing. There will be something for everyone with a great mix of styles, brands and sizes on offer.
Longfield’s Head of Retail, Lynne McMahon, said: “Looking for a wardrobe refresh? Pop along for knitwear, dresses, coats and trousers, alongside classics like denim jeans, branded sweatshirts or printed tees for a fraction of the price you’d pay on the high street. When you’re ready to go, we’ll weigh your bags and work out the exact price. Simply pay what it weighs.
“Shopping with Longfield also has that feel-good factor. Every kilo of clothing you buy helps to reduce the amount of textile waste in landfill. Plus, shopping with your local hospice will help provide free and expert care for people in Gloucestershire with a life-limiting diagnosis – and their families too.”
