Police are hunting a man who offered to pay two teenage schoolgirls for a kiss in Stroud.
Two teenage girls, aged 14 and 15-years-old were sat on a bench by Travis Perkins at Rowcroft at around 4.55pm last Thursday (March 24) when they were approached by the unknown man.
When they were approached by an unknown man who said “how much for a kiss?” and presented a pile of money.
The girls stated their age and the man replied with “I can get more cash.” The girls said “bye” and the man walked off in the direction of the town centre whilst mumbling under his breath.
He was described as being a white man with a local accent who looked around 29-years-old, of a pale clear complexion and around 5ft 8ins tall. He was of an average build, wearing glasses and had mousey grey hair that was shaved on the sides but cropped on top and gelled to one side.
He was wearing dark blue jeans and had two jackets on. One of the jackets was a faded dark green and underneath that was a dark grey one.
Officers conducted reassurance patrols in the area following the incident and are now asking anyone with information to please come forward.
