Stroud bank to close in April

MOST READ

Customers of NatWest in Stroud have received letters telling them of the closure of their branch.

The bank in George Street will close on April 26th, and is one of 23 NatWest branches nationally earmarked for closure. It follows announcement last year of the closure of HSBC, which will leave only Lloyds and Santander branches in the town.

Some banking transactions, such as paying in cheques, are now available at Post Office branches.
