Stroud Foot Clinic has just celebrated its third birthday.
The clinic, which operates from the former Phoenix Inn on the London Road in Thrupp, opened back in January 2020, but ran straight into the Covid pandemic, forcing co-founder and podiatrist Geoff Boldero to close for three months as the world adapted to a new normal.
However, Geoff and Clinic Manager Kath Morrison and Foot Health Practitioner Denise Blake weathered the storm and now three years on the founders have gone from strength-to-strength and have have added an extra 10 team members to cope with the demand for the clinic’s services.
Geoff and his team have been steadily building a comprehensive service that doesn’t stop at the ankle! Building on their catch line “The Foot and Beyond”, the clinic now offers a full range of podiatry services including nail surgery, custom foot orthotics, gait analysis as well as an extensive massage service, and innovative new movement/rehab therapy sessions. All these take good foot health as the foundation for addressing other physical challenges such as knee and back pain, or improving your foot function to be at your best at your chosen sport.
From six year-olds to centenarians, everyone is welcome and every foot is important.
